Peer Review Process
Every manuscript submitted to JIMA-ILKOM undergoes a rigorous editorial and peer-review process to ensure originality, scientific quality, methodological soundness, and relevance to the journal's scope. The journal applies a Double-Blind Peer Review system, in which both authors' and reviewers' identities remain anonymous throughout the review process.

Peer Review Workflow
Step 1. Initial Editorial Screening
The editorial team evaluates the manuscript for scope, formatting, language quality, ethical compliance, and plagiarism screening using Turnitin.

Step 2. Reviewer Assignment
Suitable manuscripts are assigned anonymously to at least two expert reviewers under the Double-Blind Peer Review policy.

Step 3. Peer Review
Reviewers evaluate originality, methodology, technical quality, novelty, references, ethical issues, discussion, conclusions, and overall contribution.

Step 4. Author Revision
Reviewer comments are returned to the corresponding author. Authors are requested to revise the manuscript and submit a response to reviewers.

Step 5. Editorial Decision
Based on reviewers' recommendations and editorial evaluation, the manuscript will receive one of the following decisions: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.

Editorial Policy
The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject manuscripts during the initial screening if they fall outside the journal's scope, fail to meet ethical or formatting requirements, or do not demonstrate sufficient scientific quality. The Editor-in-Chief's decision regarding publication is final.
